Other Ways to Support the Middle Park Land Trust

Besides becoming a member, there are many other ways to help us:

At Work:

~Matching Grants: Ask your employer whether your company will match your donation.

~United Way: United Way and other payroll deduction plans permit a checkoff to benefit a specifically designated nonprofit organization like Middle Park Land Trust.

~Business Partners Program: Local businesses support land conservation by collecting or donating a percentage (typically 1%) of their revenue to the Middle Park Land Trust. Other types of financial support are also welcomed.

At Home:

~Stock Donations: Talk to your financial planner about the potential benefits of donating stock to the Land Trust.

~Honorary and Memorial Contributions: Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, holiday, wedding or memorialize a loved one with a gift to the Middle Park Land Trust.

~Vehicles for Charity: Instead of selling, trading or storing your vehicle, you can make a donation and receive a tax deduction-- while helping the Middle Park Land Trust at the same time. For more information, visit www.vehiclesforcharity.org.

~Include MPLT in Estate Planning: By designating MPLT in your will or as a beneficiary through other planned giving methods, you can help create a legacy of protected lands in Grand County. Email mplt@middleparklandtrust.com for more information.

Please visit thier site at www.goodsearch.com and enter "Middle Park Land Trust" in the "I'm supporting" field. Click the verify button, then begin browing the web. That's all there is to it. Thanks for your support!

~Buy for Charity: MPLT recommends that you always shop locally if possible. If you are shopping online, please use www.buyforcharity.com to shop for almost anything from over 350 stores, such as Barnes and Noble, Gap, Best Buy, Dell Computers, REI, Bass Pro Shops, Petco, etc... and benefit the Middle Park Land Trust. Up to 35% of each purchase will be donated to us when you select MPLT as your charity of choice.
To buy on-line and select MPLT as your charity of choice go to www.buyforcharity.com and then choose "select a cause." MPLT is registered as Category: Environmental, State: Colorado, and Keyword: Middle Park Land Trust. Then pick a participating store and MPLT will receive a portion of your on-line purchases.

~City Market Cares Program: Provide us with your value card information, and you will be earning money for the Land Trust whenever you shop at City Market or King Soopers. It costs you nothing. To sign up, fill out the City Market Cares form and mail it to us. Or, call or e-mail us with your name, address, phone number, and City Market or King Soopers Value Card number.
